4. Enrollment and Registration
4.1 Enrollment Process
To enroll in programs, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete information in enrollment forms
- Pay applicable program fees
- Agree to these Terms and Conditions
4.2 Program Capacity
Enrollment is limited to maintain educational quality. We reserve the right to close enrollment when capacity is reached. Enrollment is confirmed upon payment receipt and confirmation email.
4.3 Prerequisites
While most programs have no strict prerequisites, we may provide recommendations about appropriate program selection based on experience level. You are responsible for selecting programs suitable for your knowledge and goals.
5. Fees and Payment
5.1 Program Fees
Program fees are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and must be paid in full before program commencement unless payment plan arrangements have been made. Fees include all materials, resources, and support specified in program descriptions.
5.2 Payment Methods
We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, and other methods as specified during enrollment. Payment processing is handled securely through third-party processors.
5.3 Payment Plans
Payment plans may be available for advanced programs. Terms are specified at enrollment and require approval. Failure to meet payment obligations may result in suspension of program access.
5.4 Refund Policy
Participants may receive full refunds if they withdraw before the second program session. After the second session, refunds are calculated as:
- Total fee minus completed session costs (proportional) minus SGD 100 processing fee
- No refunds available after 50% of program sessions have occurred
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] and are processed within 14 business days of approval.
6. Participant Responsibilities
6.1 Attendance and Participation
Participants are expected to attend scheduled sessions and engage constructively with course content and activities. While occasional absences are understood, consistent non-attendance may result in reduced program value.
6.2 Conduct Standards
Participants must:
- Treat instructors and other participants with respect
- Maintain confidentiality regarding other participants' financial situations discussed in sessions
- Refrain from disruptive behavior during sessions
- Not record sessions without explicit permission
We reserve the right to remove participants who violate conduct standards without refund.
6.3 Information Accuracy
You are responsible for providing accurate information during enrollment and consultations. We base guidance and materials on information you provide; inaccurate information may limit program effectiveness.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Content
All course materials, content, workbooks, templates, and resources are proprietary to Keystone Academy and protected by copyright. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use materials for personal financial planning purposes only.
7.2 Restrictions
You may not:
- Reproduce or distribute course materials to others
- Use materials for commercial purposes or professional practice
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
- Remove copyright notices or attributions
7.3 Feedback
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about our programs may be used by us without compensation or attribution.
8. Educational Nature of Services
8.1 Not Financial Advice
Our programs provide financial education, not personalized financial advice. Content presents concepts, frameworks, and information for educational purposes. You are responsible for determining how, if at all, to apply concepts to your specific circumstances.
8.2 No Professional Relationship
Enrollment does not create a financial advisor-client, attorney-client, or similar professional relationship. For professional financial planning, tax, or legal services, consult appropriate licensed professionals.
8.3 Individual Responsibility
Financial decisions and their outcomes are your responsibility. We provide education to support informed decision-making but cannot guarantee specific results or outcomes from applying program concepts.
9. Disclaimers
9.1 Service Provision
Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we strive for accuracy and quality, we do not warrant that content is error-free, current, or complete.
9.2 No Results Guarantee
We make no promises about specific outcomes from applying program concepts. Financial results depend on numerous factors beyond educational content, including individual circumstances, decisions, and market conditions.
9.3 Third-Party Content
We may reference or link to third-party resources. We are not responsible for accuracy, availability, or content of external sources.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law:
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the specific program giving rise to the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages
- We are not liable for losses resulting from your financial decisions or actions
- We are not liable for interruptions, errors, or unavailability of services
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory of liability and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Keystone Academy, its instructors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of services, violation of these terms, or violation of any rights of others.
12. Termination
12.1 By Participant
You may withdraw from programs subject to our refund policy. Withdrawal must be submitted in writing.
12.2 By Academy
We may terminate your participation for violation of these terms, disruptive conduct, or non-payment. In such cases, no refunds are provided.
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to access materials and support ends. Provisions regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability survive termination.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts.
Before pursuing legal action, we encourage participants to contact us to resolve disputes informally.
14. General Provisions
14.1 Entire Agreement
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any enrollment agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Keystone Academy.
14.2 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
14.3 Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
14.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these terms. We may assign our rights and obligations to successors or affiliates.
14.5 Notices
Notices to you may be sent to the email address you provided during enrollment. Notices to us should be sent to [email protected].
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated to enrolled participants. Continued use of services after changes indicates acceptance of updated terms.
Current terms are always available on our website with the effective date clearly stated.
